XForms - Development Environment


Here are a few notes about how to setup your environment to write XForms code.

XML editor

If write your own XForms code (instead of creating form with Form Builder), you should get good XML schema-aware editor. Popular editors that support XML include oXygen, IntelliJ, Eclipse, and XML Spy.

You should setup your XML editor to use schemas, so it can validate the code you type on the fly, highlight errors, and offer code completion. For this, we provide the following XML schemas. You can download the schemas linked below, and setup your editor to point to the those files.
